Stupid City
Crossing Waterloo Bridge I think I’ll miss this stupid city
With its Dispassionate skyscrapers
Their lights reflecting off my snail trail
Wet wheel tracks as I skate in the rain
Always tired
On my journey through central
Delivery boy
Dodging McFlurry street art
And buses
I think I’ll miss this stupid city
With its kitchen sink job opportunities
Floating by my head
In one ear out the other
Apps for pubs and juices
Level 3 consumer
Counting pennies in primrose hill
I think I’ll miss this stupid city
With its stupid perfection
And perfect people
